Deck & Dice

Terms of Use

Effective 3 August 2026

Deck & Dice is a growing collection of dice and card games for phones, computers and the web, made by Code Unlimited, Sweden. These terms cover the app and every game in it, including games added later. By installing or playing it, you agree to them.

Your licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and play Deck & Dice on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not sell, rent or redistribute the app, and you may not reverse-engineer, decompile or modify it except where the law expressly allows it despite this restriction.

The app, its artwork and its name remain ours. Nothing here transfers ownership of anything.

Purchases and subscriptions

Parts of the app are free; some features can be unlocked by a one-time purchase, and an all-access subscription unlocks everything while it is active. All purchases are made through Google Play or the App Store and are governed by that store's terms as well as these.

Playing with other people

On platforms that support it, local multiplayer connects devices directly over Bluetooth, for the games that offer it. The player name you choose is visible to everyone at the table and, while you host, to devices scanning nearby — do not use a name you would not want shown. Be decent to the people you play with; we provide no moderation because nothing passes through us.

Availability and changes

We may add, change, update or remove games and features, on any platform, at any time. Which games are available is what the app shows in its lobby, and nothing here promises that a particular game stays available forever. If we discontinue a paid feature you have bought, we will say so in advance where we reasonably can.

No warranty

The app is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that Bluetooth play will work with every device combination. Statutory consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded are unaffected.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Privacy

What the app does with data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: your games and the names you type stay on your device, and when the app crashes or hits an error it may send anonymous diagnostics — the error, technical device and app information, and a non-personal log of what it was doing — so the fault can be fixed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of your country of residence and may bring proceedings in your local courts.
